Duplicate signup

Multiple onboarding attempts by a single user can lead to increased costs and potential security risks such as fraudulent account creation.

To mitigate these issues, utilize our duplicate check feature to identify and block users who have previously attempted to onboard with either the same email address and government-issued ID.

Here is how to activate this feature on EasyOnboard:

  1. Within the verification flow you have created, navigate to the Fraud check module.

  2. Turn on 'Detect with Duplicate ID'

  3. Pre-select the status of the verifications detected as duplicate as either pending or failed.

Please note that setting the status as pending would require you to manually review such verifications before passing or failing it.

Another major function of this feature is that it allows users with abandoned verifications, continue from where they stopped in their initial attempt.
